Mark what a passage reveals
Say what a fragment tells about a character, and whether the reader may know it beforehand.
- Select the fragment of text that tells something.
- Review → This tells.
- Say what it tells (a Characteristic, a Event or a Relationship) and, under For the reader, when the reader may know it.
For the reader
- In plain sight: seen from the moment the entity appears.
- Spoiler: veiled until they read this passage.
- Reserved: does not exist until they truly read this passage.
That way, whoever reads your work in Exaratio sees the characters' cards without learning too early what the book hasn't told them yet.
Something you already prepared
If the fact is already on the card, choose it under One I prepared: it keeps its seal.
