Link a piece of text to an entity
When the text names someone differently, like "the girl".

- Select the words, for example "the girl".
- Review → Associate selection.
- Choose the entity and accept.
It gets a solid underline. Hovering over it shows who it is.
Appearances and mentions
Exaratio finds your characters by name and aliases: these are appearances. What you link by hand is a mention. Both count for jumping between them and for the scene.
Fix it
Right-click it → Change the associated entity or Remove the association. Mentions are saved with the chapter.
