Have several timelines

One for each thread of the story; its start and end come from what you date in it.

  1. In Work → Calendars, click Add a timeline on its world's card.
  2. Type its Name and accept.
What a timeline is

The axis your story runs along, with its calendar. Each character, place or event can have its validity on it: when it's born, when it exists, when it happens.

Other ways to create one

New timeline in Work → Timeline.

Its name, start and end

Each timeline has its own name: if one is already called the same, Exaratio flags it. Edit, on the world's card, opens everything about a timeline, including its Start and End.

Which timeline is shown

Each date in your text says which timeline it happens on (Date a scene). The Timeline selector only picks which timeline the chronology shows.
