Place something in time

When a character is born, when a place exists, when an event happens.

  1. In the chronology, click the notice of what's still unplaced, at the top right.
  2. In Not placed in time, drag each entity to its place on the timeline.

That creates its validity. A blank end means it carries on: the character doesn't die, the place still stands.

A new event

Double-click a gap in the chronology, type its name and accept. It's born placed at that moment and its card opens for you to complete.

From its card

In Edit entity, under Timelines, type its Start and End.

Move and adjust

Drag a bar to change its date, or stretch it by its ends; Esc cancels. Double-click the bar to open Edit validity, where you type exact dates and choose whether it's drawn as a bar or a milestone.
