The calendar designer

What the assistant doesn't ask: leap-year rules, eras, cycles, custom hours.

  1. Open Advanced, inside the assistant, or Advanced, at the end of The work's time.
The designer: the steps on the left and the working calendar on the right
What you can do
  • Leap-year rules sentence by sentence: "a leap year every 4 years, except every 100, but yes every 400".
  • Several eras, year names that repeat in a cycle and cycles that name each day, like the Maya Tzolk'in.
  • Custom hours, days that don't count in the week and how its dates are written.
  • A calendar without years, counting only days.
The two rulers

Your calendar on top and the one you choose in Compared with below, at the same scale. If they share time, a pin joins them on the day they coincide; drag it to change that day.

The designer's two rulers: the Calendar of the Tides on top, Earth below
The rest of Advanced

Create a period scale (for a stardate), your work's time map and anchors between two calendars that aren't Earth (Create an anchor).
