Time in a book with choices
Each option creates its branch: what happens behind one doesn't exist in the others.

- Write the choice's options (A book with choices).
Exaratio creates a branch for each one, with its name, starting at the date of the scene where the choice is made. If that scene has no date yet, the branches start as soon as you date it.
Dating behind an option
What you write behind an option is dated in its branch: the dating dialog already has it selected. In the book's editor, each option says which branch it belongs to.
Two options that lead to the same place
Merge their branches from All timelines (See all timelines drawn).
What the reader sees
Only what happens in the branches they chose: the others don't exist for them.
