exaratio.com's seal
It vouches for which edition it is, whose and when; the reader checks it by scanning its code.

- Generate the edition while online: it comes out sealed by exaratio.com.
When it finishes, the assistant shows the seal's date.
If it came out without a seal
It's the same edition; it just can't be checked online. Open it: in its presentation, click Seal at exaratio.com. Only you, its author, see that button.
What it guarantees
That your account generated that edition and on what date. It doesn't certify that the text belongs to whoever signs it. Only the file's fingerprint travels to exaratio.com, never the book.
Where it shows
In the edition's presentation, with its QR code; on the credits page of whatever you export from it; and on the back cover, if you put the QR there (The QR in the credits and on the back cover).
