The print cover
A PDF with back, spine and front on one sheet, to print the book.
- File → Export → Print cover (.pdf).
- Give the number of interior pages and the paper: White, Cream or Custom.
- Export.
Bleed and marks
Bleed is the margin each edge extends so it can be trimmed without white edges. Crop marks are optional: print-on-demand services don't want them.
If the spine doesn't fit
Exaratio tells you. Adjust it, or choose Export as it is if you know the book will still grow.
What it needs
The front cover. Without a designed spine, one is composed with the front's color, the title and your name; without a back, it takes the front's background color.
