Open a work to read it
You don't need a license: double-click the file you received.
- Install Exaratio, if you don't have it (Install Exaratio).
- Double-click the file you received: an
.xrtbedition or an.exarwork. - You'll see its presentation; whenever you like, start reading (The work's presentation and its book).
The first time
Exaratio without a license greets you with Thank you for using Exaratio. If you're only going to read, click Not now.
From Exaratio
File → Open (Ctrl+O⌘O).
What you can't do
A work belongs to its author: you read it, annotate it and rate it, but you don't change it or take it out of Exaratio in another format. That's why it always opens to read, even with a license. The Read only badge tells you why.
Close it
Press Esc. If something is open over the text, the first Esc closes that. Exaratio remembers where you were.
