Write without distractions
Leave just the page, keep the line at mid-height, or write without being able to delete.

- In View, click Distraction-free (Ctrl+Shift+D⌘⇧D). Only the page is left.
- Press Esc to leave.
The line always at mid-height
Typewriter keeps the line you're writing at mid-height, like on a typewriter.
No deleting
Strict typewriter: No deleting, or Strike out instead of deleting. Good for writing a first draft in one go. Off turns it off.
Full screen and folded ribbon
View → Full screen (F11F11) fills the screen, and Ctrl+F1⌘F1 folds the ribbon.
Line numbers
Line numbers numbers the lines in the margin.
