Key sounds and ambience
How writing sounds: each key, and a background sound while you write.

- In View, click Sound for key sounds, or Ambience for a background sound.
- To choose which one plays, open Customization.
What you hear
- Key sounds change what you hear when you type on the page: each key, the space, Enter and, if it has one, the margin bell.
- Ambience is a background sound that keeps you company while you write. It goes quiet on its own if you stop writing for a few minutes or the window is hidden, and comes back with the next key.
Turning them on brings back the last one you chose; if you haven't chosen any yet, Customization opens.
Getting more
Sounds and ambiences are modules: you install them from exaratio.com with the magnifying-glass button exaratio.com (Modules: sounds, themes, papers and more).
