Shapes, lettering, text boxes and videos
What else goes on the page, besides images.

- Put the cursor where it goes.
- In Insert, choose Shape, Lettering, Text box or Video.
Lettering and text box
You tell them apart when you choose them: lettering is drawing, like a sign inside an illustration; a text box is the story's text, set apart. Both are adjusted in their card, like an image (Put an image in the text), and selecting one shows its tab on the ribbon.
A video
Add a video to the work opens: choose the Level (Balanced: up to 1280 px, 30 frames per second, Compact: up to 854 px, 24 frames per second or Minimum: up to 640 px, 24 frames per second), trim it from one second to another, and tick No sound (an illustrative ambience weighs half as much) if it isn't needed. See how it turns out and click Insert.
The video is converted to WebM (AV1 and Opus), which Exaratio and e-readers that play video can read. If it's over a minute, trimming it is recommended.
