Create a work
A work is a single .exar file with everything inside: the text, the characters, time and images.

- Press Ctrl+N⌘N, or click New work if no work is open.
- Choose where to save the file and what to call it.
- Type the Project name, the Title of the work and the Author, and accept.
The sample page
The work opens with a page that shows each kind of paragraph: headings, quotes, dialogue. Use it to see how your style looks, and delete it whenever you like.

Each work is an .exar file that keeps everything together: the text, the characters, the timelines and
the images. You can copy it, take it to another computer or keep it in your cloud.
If the book is already written
Don't copy it by hand: import it (Bring in a book you've already written).
