Activate your license
With your license title, the .xrtl file you got when you bought it, Exaratio goes from reading to writing.

- Double-click your
.xrtlfile. - In the Your Exaratio license window, click Activate on this computer.
- In your browser, sign in with your exaratio.com account and accept. Go back to Exaratio: within a few seconds it says the computer is activated.
There is no serial number
Your license is a file, the license title, ending in .xrtl, that you get when you buy. There's no key
to type. Exaratio never sees your password: you type it on exaratio.com.
From Exaratio, without the double-click
Open Help → Your license and click Import a title to choose the file.
If one of your works opens read-only
If you wrote a work before activating the computer, open it and click Make this work mine (A work opens read-only, or won't open).
Keep a copy of the title
Save a copy saves a copy somewhere safe: with it you activate Exaratio again if you change computers (Your licenses).
Offline
Exaratio works without internet and checks your license from time to time. If it goes a long time without being able to, the Your Exaratio license window tells you how many days are left; after 30 days without checking, it opens works read-only until you reconnect and click Validate now.
