  1. To give a book to read, don't share your work: generate an edition (Generate an edition).
The signature

With your computer activated, every time you save, your work is signed with your account: it says it's yours and that nobody has touched it since. If someone changes the file outside Exaratio, the signature no longer matches and Exaratio says so. Readers see it in its presentation: Signed.

Encrypted

It opens in any Exaratio to be read, but only its owner edits it or takes it out in another format. Readers can't select or copy the text.

Rights

Protected or Free, with the license you choose (Rights and license). Readers see it in its presentation.

Your working copy travels whole
What you export

A PDF, EPUB or Word no longer carry Exaratio's protection: whoever receives them can copy them.

Unsigned

A work saved on a computer that isn't activated isn't signed, and opens read-only (A work opens read-only, or won't open).
