Review and undo what your assistant did

What your assistant does is saved in the work right away, in plain sight, and can be undone just like what you do. · 2 min read

See what it did

With the work open, each change your assistant makes appears right away, and the status bar tells you what it did, for example “Claude created an entity”. If something goes wrong for it, you see it in Exaratio's notifications.

You don't have to save anything for it: whatever your assistant changes is saved in the work as soon as it does it. Your own unsaved changes stay as they are, waiting for you to save them; when you close, Exaratio only asks you about your changes.

You can also ask it: “What did you change in the last hour?”

Undo it

  • You: press Ctrl+Z⌘Z with the cursor outside the text. It undoes the last change to the work, whether it was yours or your assistant's, and goes back one step at a time.
  • Your assistant: ask it: “undo the last thing you did”. If it made many changes at once, such as when importing a book, they're undone together.

More about undoing in Nothing gets lost: history and undo.

How long it lasts

Exaratio keeps the latest changes to each work, even after you close it: three days, unless you change Undo after closing the work (days) in Preferences.
