Help us shape Exaratio before its launch
We're opening a closed beta for people who love to write and want to be part of the birth of Exaratio. You don't need to be a professional or to have published. You can apply until November 1, 2026.
What the beta is for
We want to see Exaratio in the hands of people who write, on their own projects, before we launch it. During the beta we want to:
- Find any problem or friction when writing with Exaratio.
- Hear your opinion on everyday use: what helps you, what gets in your way and what you miss.
- Learn your preferences and how easy each of Exaratio's mechanics is to understand.
Who can apply
Anyone who wants to write and tell us how it goes, whether for a living or for the love of it:
- People who write novels, short stories, poetry, essays, scripts, plays or a world of their own, published or not.
- People who work with texts: journalists, editors, proofreaders and translators.
- People who research or study and work with characters, places, dates and periods.
We don't ask for published work or experience: what matters is your wish to write and to tell us what you find. If you have published, you can say so; it helps us bring together a varied group.
Your language matters
Exaratio is available in twelve languages and we want to test it in all of them. Tell us which one you write in: we'll also choose so that every language has someone testing it.
What you need
- A computer with Windows 10 or 11: for now, Exaratio runs on Windows.
- Something to write during the beta —a novel, a story, a world, a research project—, even if you're just starting, and the will to tell us what you find.
- A free exaratio.com account. You apply with it and, if we choose you, you activate the license with it.
What you get if we choose you
- A Closed Beta license: the full Exaratio, with the beta versions, on 2 computers, for 6 months, even if the beta ends sooner.
- 50% off your first purchase of an Annual or Professional license.
- Your name in the acknowledgments of the launch announcement, if you allow it.
- An email with each new beta version, until the beta stage ends.
Places and deadline
Places are limited, but we want a broad and varied group. You can apply until November 1, 2026. We'll let the people we choose know by email; applying doesn't guarantee a place.
