Every story has a memory. Exaratio keeps it.
A literary editor where characters, places, and events live in time: they have periods of validity, relationships, and continuity. Local, private, and yours.
I'm looking for people who write. Will you join me in the beta?

A look inside Exaratio
This is no mock-up: these are real screens from the app. Pick a visual style and watch it change.
Shall I show you the rest? I have 26 screens ready, with everything explained.

Your world
Your world, beside the text
As you write, the panel follows the scene: it knows who's in it and lets you know if something doesn't add up.
Time
The story's chronology
Every character, object, and event in its place in time, with your world's calendar.
Read and publish
Your work, as readers will see it
Reader mode shows the book the way your audience will see it, with what's worth knowing on each page.

Design the cover
A cover editor with templates, layers, and your work's images.
Time, inside your work
For centuries, writing was a way to defeat oblivion. Exaratio carries on that tradition: every character, place, and event remembers what was true at each moment of your story.
If you write the ending before the beginning, Exaratio warns you when a character knows something they shouldn't know yet.
Cassandra
When Priam's daughter passed through the Lion Gate, she already knew how the night would end.
Your characters grow older with you
Each character can have several images, each with its own period of validity. While you write a chapter, their card shows the face they had at that time: the young man of Ithaca, the warrior at Troy, the castaway, or the old king.
Drag the timeline or select a portrait. Nothing is deleted: every image stays on the card, each in its own time.
Every time in your world
From the Rome of the Ides to a generation ship. Exaratio comes with historical calendars and lets you create your world's own, with their own units, days that don't last 24 hours, and anchors to real history.
This moment, in every calendar
Pick a moment: Exaratio shows it in every calendar of your work, including the ones you invented.
Ten calendars included
Each one states its precision, exact to the day or approximate, so there are no surprises.
Invent your world's calendar
Name your units and say how many fit into the next one. For example, the calendar of Ilmaren:
For science fiction, a proportional scale is enough: “1 cycle = 1,000,000 seconds.”
Several timelines, one world
Each timeline with its own calendar, and the whole saga sharing them. Example: a novel about Hypatia.
Three territories, a single page
Writing stays at the center. Context appears when you need it, like a side lamp on your desk.
The editor
Comfortable rich text for chapters, scenes, and drafts. A word can be linked to a character without turning into fragile decoration.
The context
Characters, places, objects, rules, and organizations with aliases, properties, and relationships. Your world defines the categories, not the software.
Time
Timelines, periods of validity, and gentle warnings. Write out of order: Exaratio remembers what was true at each moment of the story, down to each character's face.
“Its purpose is not to replace the imagination. Its purpose is to protect it.”The Exaratio Manifesto
